WHere Words Fail,
WHere Words Fail,
My name is Kristine Dandavino and I teach piano and singing lessons in Oshawa for children, adolescents, and adults. My teaching philosophy is based on body, mind, and emotional awareness. Learning how to sing and/or play piano can provide long lasting benefits in all aspects of life. Music has healing properties. I strongly believe that anyone can learn how to play piano and sing! I am a member in good standing with The Ontario Registered Music Association and The National Association of Teachers of Singing. I look forward to helping you on your musical journey!
I specialize in teaching all pianists how to read music and to play piano with a strong technique. All lessons are taught on a Samick Grand piano. All lessons are unique and based on the student's specific needs with a focus on sound quality, technique, musicianship and style. Students are encouraged to participate in studio recitals, music festivals, examinations. However, if they so chose, students can always learn piano without the pressure of performing. I teach classical, popular, rock, jazz, blues and easy listening. All musical genres are possible!
I accept voice students from the age of 7.
All singing lessons are taught in a high ceiling room with the support of a grand piano.
Pop singing lessons include training with microphones.
